Every week our team pulls the top recipes saved by users — the ones that turn one-time chats with Chef Mila into recipe-library staples. This week the list is dominated by quick, one-pot weeknight dinners.
We dug into 250,000 conversations to understand what's behind the shift. Three patterns stood out, and one of them surprised us.
1. Pantry-first phrasing. Cooks who start with "what can I make with…" save almost 3× more recipes than cooks who ask by cuisine or ingredient.
2. Time gates. Once Mila knows you have under 30 minutes, the recipes she suggests get sharper — and saved more often.
3. One-pot wins. Half of the top-saved meals this week are sheet-pan or one-pot. The fewer dishes, the better the save rate.
We're using this data to train Mila to ask better questions earlier. Expect smarter pantry-first prompts in the next release.
